The criteria for being eligible to participate in fraternity or sorority recruitment is:

    • A minimum of 2.0 cumulative GPA (good academic standing with the College)

    • A minimum of completed 12 credits at an accredited 2-4 year institution of higher education

    • Good social standing with the College (must be in compliance with all conduct sanctions and cannot be on a deferred suspension, or above, status)*.

  • Although there is a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA to go through the recruitment process, each fraternity has their own minimum grade requirement for students to be eligible for membership. Every fraternity strives to maintain a higher chapter grade point average (GPA); therefore, each must consider a member's ability to adhere to the chapter’s scholastic standards.
