Thank you for your interest in Sorority life at Gustavus! Please view the below information for everything you need to know about the sorority recruitment processes.

SCHEDULE

Values-Based Recruitment will take place on Februray 4th-12th, 2026.

Potential New Members will have three dates to visit all four of the sororities twice through the formal recruitment events scheduled on February 4th, 5th, and 10th. These events will be broken down into 25-minute time visits with each chapter, with the ability to attend all four chapters in one evening.

Recruitment is a mutual selection process that focuses on building relationships and will allow potential new members to engage with all of our sorority organizations.

You must pre-register, so we can plan for recruitment and keep you updated on the process. Registration is quick and free for everyone.

JOINING REQUIREMENT

Attendance: Potential New Members (PNMs) must visit all four of the sororities through the formal recruitment events schedule. These events will be divided into 25-minute sessions, allowing PNMs to visit each chapter and attend all four in one evening. To be eligible to join a chapter, you must attend at least two events per chapter throughout the first three nights of recruitment.

GPA and Conduct:

Please note that the lowest GPA requirement any of our chapters has for joining is 2.5, and each chapter may have a higher requirement. Exceptions to this requirement are never made.  If you do not meet this minimum, please refrain from registering and consider revisiting recruitment in another year.

Registration and App:

When you register:

  1. You will create a username and password that will allow you to input information about yourself and modify your profile.
    • This information is only asked of you in order to organize registration and sort final bids at the end of the process. 
    • Write down your username and password, or email it to yourself. 
  2. When you have completed your registration, you will receive a confirmation email.  It is automatically generated, so please do not try to reply to it. 
    • If you do not immediately see it, check your junk mail folder as it may go there.  Any communication from us about recruitment will come via email, so please provide an e-mail address that you regularly check.

You will be assigned a recruitment counselor upon registration, and they will reach out to you to help facilitate this process.

 

Schedule:

NOW- February 10th: Sign up for recruitment via Campus Director

February 4th, 5th, 10th: Attend formal recruitment events, visiting all four chapters at least two times.

Febraruy 12th: Preference Night. This night is where chapters invite you back one more time to meet with them. Each PNM is allowed to accept up to three invitations. That night, you will narrow down your final selection(s) and rank your chapter selection(s) on Campus Director.

*** It is highly encouraged not to solo bid to maximize your likelihood of joining Greek Life.*** 

February 12th: Chapters and PNMs will submit their preferences by 11:59pm.

February 13th: Any unmatched PNM’s will enter snap bidding at 8am, and must accept or decline a bid by 5pm.
