Welcome to Recruitment Registration for SIUE IFC Fraternity Recruitment 2025!
As a reminder, IFC Fraternity Recruitment is the process to join one of SIUE's 6 IFC fraternities. More information on these 6 organizations can be found here.
Academic Guidelines: In order to be eligible to join an IFC fraternity at SIUE, you must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. This is the requirement set by the Interfraternity Council. In addition to this, all IFC fraternities at SIUE also set a GPA requirement for membership. Note: The GPA requirement for each IFC fraternity may be higher than the minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Financial Responsibility: Being a member of a fraternity comes with a financial commitment. You will learn more in-depth financial information during the various IFC recruitment events as we want to be transparent that on average, a man who joins an IFC fraternity will pay anywhere from $150.00 to $550.00 during his first semester in the organization. This will be your most expensive semester in the fraternity. After your first semester, your cost of membership (dues) goes down. We strongly encourage you ask all of your questions about finances during Meet the Fraternities, including payment plan options, so you have a good idea of what you are paying for with your membership dues.
If you have any general questions about SIUE Fraternity and Sorority Life or are interested in a historically African-American fraternity on campus, please contact Kimmel Belonging and Engagement Hub.
