We are excited that you are interested in participating in Texas Tech Interfraternity Council (IFC) Formal Recruitment!

Formal Recruitment is an opportunity to meet all IFC fraternities at Texas Tech through a structured and values-based recruitment experience. Whether you are coming into recruitment knowing several members or starting completely new, we are excited to help you explore the fraternity community and find where you feel most connected.

Before continuing, please carefully review the information below:

Recruitment Information

• IFC Formal Recruitment will take place August 15th–23rd, 2026
• The cost to participate in Formal Recruitment is $100
• PNMs participating in Formal Recruitment will be eligible for early move-in on August 14th
• Structured recruitment activities will take place daily leading up to Bid Day on August 23rd
• No bids may officially be accepted until Bid Day on August 23rd

Before You Register

Please note that:

• Registration is not complete until all registration steps and payment have been submitted
• All PNMs participating in Formal Recruitment are expected to attend scheduled recruitment activities
• Throughout the summer, chapters may begin reaching out and inviting you to optional Informal Recruitment events

We encourage you to:

• Follow Texas Tech IFC and chapter social media accounts
• Attend optional summer recruitment events
• Ask questions throughout the process
• Start getting excited for your Texas Tech experience!
