Welcome to UAlberta 2025 Sorority Recruitment!

We are very excited to see your interest in our recruitment! Our recruitment will be held from September 6th, 2025, to September 20th, 2025, with our registration closing on September 17th, 2025, at 10:00 am.

On our campus, we have four Panhellenic Chapters: Alpha Gamma Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Pi Beta Phi. Through the recruitment process, you will have the opportunity to meet with members from each chapter and learn more about each sorority! We recommend you download our Potential New Member Recruitment Guide to learn more about each chapter and the recruiting process.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• All submissions will be final, meaning you will not be able to edit your submission after completing registration. Please make sure to check that you have filled out everything to the best of your abilities before submitting.

• You will need to have your High School Transcripts (unofficial is acceptable, as long as they are your final transcript) or University GPA available for us to check. There is no GPA requirement to participate in recruitment.

• Recruitment Events begin on September 6th 2025. We recommend you attend one of our Information Nights held on September 5 and 10 to orient yourself with recruitment information and other Potential New Members (PNMs) like yourself.

• The last day you can register is September 17th at 10 am

• To register, you must be an undergraduate student enrolled at the University of Alberta and comfortable being referred to (in the collective or singular) as a woman or sister.

POLICY AGAINST HAZING

The NPC has adopted Unanimous Agreement IX, which condemns hazing and hazing-related behaviors. Hazing and hazing-related activities contradict all expectations of the proper behavior expected of the undergraduate and alumnae members of our member organizations as outlined in Unanimous Agreement IV, Standards of Ethical Conduct. Each member organization has its own set of bylaws, policies, and rules condemning hazing and governing the investigation and discipline involving hazing allegations.

PRE-REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

• If possible, a laptop or desktop should be used when registering

• Use Google Chrome internet browser when completing your application or Potential New Member Companion App (Apple Link / Android Link)  

• Have your GPA readily available:
  • If you are a first-year student, your high school GPA (We can convert averages to GPA)
  • If you are a transfer student, your transfer GPA
  • If you are a sophomore-senior, your university GPA

• Read through the Potential New Member Recruitment Guide for more information and guidance

• Submit a picture where you feel cute and confident! They are so we can easily identify you, and will never be used as judgment or for analysis.
  
• At the end of registration, a payment page will appear. This page can be ignored; there is no cost to go through recruitment at the University of Alberta.
