As we are approaching the start of recruitment, there is some important information you need to know!

All PNMs are required to submit a video. 
Your spirit day video is due on Friday September 12th at 11:59pm, the guidelines for that can be located here:

PNM Orientation is set September 17th, with two sessions. The first session will be at 6:15 and the second will be at 7:45. These sessions will be about an hour of your time. 

To determine which session you are attending, please check your base group number! 

-Base groups 1-11 will be attending session 1 at 6:15pm on September 17th

-Base groups 12-22 will be attending session 2 at 7:45 on September 17th

Recruitment Days and Times:

The days of recruitment are as follows, the times will be dependent on when you have parties, which will be determined day off. It is recommended to plan for your whole day being recruitment, but that usually won’t be the case.

Wednesday September 17th - PNM Orientation

-Session 1 is for base groups 1-10, and will be starting at 6:15pm

-Session 2 is for base groups 11-21, and will be starting at 7:45pm

Thursday Septmeber 18th - Spirit Day

Chapter videos will be viewed as base groups in classrooms on campus!

Friday September 19th - Philanthropy Day 1, 5:30PM-9:30PM

-You will be asked to visit up to 10 houses 

Saturday September 20th - Philanthropy Day 2, 9am-8pm

-You will visit the remainder of your 10 houses from the previous day  You will also be asked to vote on your house preferences this day.

Friday September 26th - Values Day 1, 5:30pm-10pm

-You will be asked to visit up to 6 houses. Depending on how many houses you have back, you may or may not be asked to vote on your preferences this day.

Saturday September 27th - Values Day 2, 9:30am-7pm

-You will visit the remainder of your 6 houses from the previous day, and you will be asked to vote on your preferences. 

Sunday September 28th - Preference Day, 10:30am-4:50pm

-The day will start with a meeting with all PNMs, location TBD

-You will be asked to visit up to 2 houses throughout the day

-You will end by voting on your preferences from this day

Monday September 9th - Bid Day, 4:45pm

-Bid day will take place at Dem Field, please arrive and meet your base group there at 4:45pm

PNM Resource Center:

The PNM resource center will be located at the MSU Union in the ballroom located on the second floor. It will be open during all times of recruitment. This is also the place where you will be voting on your preferences. Our recruitment buses at the end of each day of recruitment will be stopping at the Union so you are able to make it there easier.

GPA Requirement: 

As of this fall, anyone wishing to join a Panhellenic sorority at Michigan State must have a GPA of 2.5 from either high school or college. This will be checked! If you do not meet this requirement, you will be contacted by the office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. If you have any questions about this, please email me.
