We’re so excited you have decided to explore opportunities to join the Panhellenic community at UTC by participating in the formal recruitment process! Please read the additional information below before completing the registration form:

  • Make a note of the email and password you create to register. You will need this during recruitment.

  • Complete the registration form in full. Answer all the questions, including the supplemental questions at the bottom and check for accurate information. Please answer honestly! This is a way for us to get to know who you are. 

  • Be prepared to upload your resume - you will be prompted to upload a copy AFTER you click submit on the registration page. This can be as professional as you would like. Include your experience, accomplishments, and whatever else you're proud of!

  • Be prepared to upload a photo. The only guideline here is to make sure it's a picture that makes you feel most like yourself! We want to see who you are through this. 

  • Have your debit/credit card nearby and be prepared to pay the required registration fee of $85. This is a one-time, non-refundable fee. If you choose to defer payment, it will be due by 11:55 p.m. EST on July 31, 2025. If it has not been paid by then, you will not be eligible to participate in the Fall 2025 formal recruitment process. Lunch will be provided during recruitment events on August 9-12, but you will be responsible for any additional meals during and outside of that period. Campus meal plans are scheduled to begin on August 13.

  • After you have submitted your payment for recruitment, there will be an option to donate to Panhellenic’s philanthropy, Circle of Sisterhood. Donating is not required in order to register for recruitment. Choosing to donate or not donate will not positively or negatively affect your recruitment experience. Circle of Sisterhood is an organization that donates school supplies and other essential resources to help women and girls around the world gain access to quality education. This is a program near and dear to our hearts and we wanted you to have the opportunity to support it, should you choose to. Should you choose to donate, your donation is non-refundable.

Eligibility:

Per University policy, to be eligible to join a fraternity or sorority at UTC, you must be enrolled full time (12 hours or more), be in good academic and conduct standing with the University, and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA. High school GPAs are used to determine the eligibility of first-semester freshmen. GPA, enrollment, and conduct records used to verify eligibility will be the records UTC has on file for you by the registration deadline of 11:55 p.m. on July 31, 2025. If you have credits from other institutions that you need to transfer to UTC that may affect your eligibility, please start that process as soon as possible and waiting until close to the end of the semester may delay your eligibility confirmation. Eligibility must be met by the registration deadline of 11:55 p.m. on July 31.

 

Once registration closes, staff from the Office of Student and Family Engagement will review your materials to confirm your eligibility for recruitment and will email you to confirm if you are eligible to participate or not. This email will be sent to your UTC email address. If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, your $85 registration fee and any optional donation to make to Circle of Sisterhood will not be refunded.   • Deadline to fully complete the recruitment registration form and pay the $85 non-refundable registration fee: 11:55 p.m. EST on July 31, 2025

  • Formal Recruitment: August 8-13, 2025
